Returns + Exchanges
MOTH and CROW pieces are crafted with great care and attention to detail, because of this I can ensure that each and every piece that leaves my studio is of the highest quality. Please be aware that the materials used are natural animal hides and therefore have color and texture variation. In order to retain the beauty and luster of the leather finishes, these products are not treated separately for water resistance. If there is a water resistant coating, it will be stated in the product page.
Since many items are made to order, we prefer not to do exchanges. If you are really unhappy with an item, please contact us within the first five (5) days of receipt of the item and we will let you know if an exchange is possible. If we do approve an exchange, the item must be returned within the first five (5) business days from the day of exchange approval. The item must be in perfect condition, unused, and undamaged in any way, and we are not responsible to cover any shipping costs back and forth. The exchange value of an item is the dollar amount you paid for the item itself (not including shipping costs). Exchanges, when approved, will carry a 5% processing charge (from the original price of the item purchased not including shipping costs). If you ordered a custom color combination, there will be no exchanges granted.
Refunds are not offered unless we have deemed it an error on our part, and will be considered on a case by case basis. If you think you should receive a refund please contact us immediately. Refunds will only be given when the item is returned within the first five (5) business days after you receive the item in question (the day it was delivered to your shipping address). The item(s) must be unused, and without damage (unless there has been prior communication via e-mail that approved the exception), and must be accompanied with a copy of the receipt of purchase and a written note detailing the reason for return of the item.
